Em Adventure is fully committed to the safety, security, and satisfaction of our clients. To guarantee a professional and secure experience, we operate in strict compliance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia and the Mount Rinjani National Park Authority (TNGR).

2. Operational Licenses & Affiliations

We hold all necessary permits to operate adventure tours, treks, and logistics within Indonesia.

  • Tourism Business License (TDUP): Authorized by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

  • National Park Authorization: Officially registered and licensed as an authorized trekking operator by the Mount Rinjani National Park Authority (Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani / TNGR).

  • Guide Certification: All our lead guides are fully licensed and certified members of the local guide association (HPI – Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia).

3. Terms & Conditions of Service

By booking a trek or tour with Em Adventure, participants agree to the following terms:

  • Travel Insurance: Em Adventure provides basic emergency evacuation assistance; however, comprehensive personal travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Your insurance must cover high-altitude trekking (up to 3,726m), medical expenses, and helicopter evacuation.

  • Health & Fitness: Trekking Mount Rinjani is physically demanding. Participants must ensure they are in good health and physical condition. Em Adventure reserves the right to deny participation to anyone deemed unfit to safely complete the trek.

  • Park Rules & Regulations: Clients must strictly adhere to all Mount Rinjani National Park rules. This includes the “Pack It In, Pack It Out” waste policy.

  • Special Equipment (Drone Policy): In accordance with National Park regulations, the use of drone cameras is strictly prohibited inside the park unless a special permit fee (IDR 2,000,000) has been paid in advance.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Adventure travel, including high-altitude trekking, camping, and navigating uneven terrain, involves inherent risks.

  • While Em Adventure takes every possible precaution to ensure client safety, we cannot be held liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property resulting from forces of nature, weather conditions, or actions outside our direct control.

  • In the event of extreme weather, volcanic activity, or official park closures, Em Adventure reserves the right to alter or cancel itineraries for the safety of our clients and staff.

5. Environmental Commitment

As a licensed operator, Em Adventure operates under a strict “Leave No Trace” policy. We are legally bound by the National Park to bring all trash generated during the trek back down the mountain. We ask all our guests to support us in keeping Mount Rinjani clean and pristine for future generations.
